Barnsley FC Supporters Trust was formed from the merger of the Barnsley FC Supporters’ Society and the Official Barnsley FC Supporters’ Club during 2005. BFCST is the largest Supporters’ organisation which supports Barnsley FC.
Our sole focus is to provide a voice for all supporters. We aim to hold regular meetings with Barnsley FC to raise issues that affect all Barnsley supporters, support the club on initiatives and schemes, and to enhance the match day experience for everyone attending Oakwell. We are also members of the Football Supporters Federation and Supporters Direct.
The Supporters Trust is run by a board of 6-10 people, all elected by the members on an annual basis. Elections are held every 12 months at the AGM and all members of the board work voluntarily and receive no income for all the work they conduct on behalf of the Trust.
