Support for Beth
Barnsley Football Club Supporters’ Trust was deeply saddened yesterday to hear that Beth Sefton, to many the first point of contact at Oakwell, was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
Beth epitomises everything that Barnsley Football Club and the town stands for. Over two decades she has being dedicated to helping all supporter groups throughout Barnsley, down to London, and overseas. If a Barnsley supporter has ever needed a problem solving, chances are it was Beth that stepped up to help.
She’s an incredible and well-loved person, and someone the BFCST board consider a friend rather than a club employee.
We speak for all Barnsley supporters this weekend in praying for a full and speedy recovery, and send our best wishes and thoughts to Beth and her family.
